Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Astra Lunaria uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use related technologies like local storage, which lets a site save data in your browser. We group these into two categories.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required to run the Service — for example, to keep you signed in and to secure the site. These are always active and cannot be switched off. We also use your browser's local storage to temporarily save charts you generate before signing up so they are not lost.
The specific local storage items we set in your browser include:
astra-lunaria:cookie-consent:v1— remembers your cookie consent choice so we don't ask again.cosmic-empire:pending-chart:v1— temporarily holds a natal chart you generate before signing up, so it isn't lost.cosmic-empire:pending-synastry:v1— temporarily holds compatibility (synastry) details you enter before signing up.astra:starlight-revealed:*— records which daily "Starlight" card you have already revealed on a given day.
Analytics & marketing (optional)
We use Google Tag Manager to load analytics that help us understand how the Service is used. These are optional and only run with your consent where consent is required.
3. Your choices by region
- EU, EEA, UK and other opt-in regions. Optional analytics cookies are blocked until you accept them via our consent banner. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
- United States. We do not show a blocking banner. Optional analytics may run by default, but you can opt out at any time via the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly if you block strictly necessary cookies.
4. Third parties
When analytics is enabled, Google may set cookies and receive usage data as described in their own policies. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of providers we work with.
5. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
