Free Synastry Chart for You and Anyone You Love
If you've ever wondered why one person feels instantly familiar and another feels like hard work, this is where astrology goes looking for an answer. A synastry chart looks at two people at once: you lay two birth charts over each other and see where they meet, where the sparks fly, where things feel easy, and where you'll have to do a little work. It's the closest thing astrology has to a relationship map, and you can build yours below in a couple of minutes.
Person 1
Person 2
Enter birth date and place for both people to continue. Birth time is optional.
By continuing you confirm you are at least 16 years old (or have your parent or guardian's permission) and agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy. Astrological readings are AI-generated for entertainment and self-reflection — they are not professional advice. See our Disclaimer.
What Your Free Synastry Chart Shows You
Enter both people's details and the free synastry calculator builds your combined chart. It maps every planet, aspect, and house overlay between the two of you.
That gives you three layers to look at:
- Every planet from both charts, placed side by side
- The aspects, the angles your planets make to theirs
- The house overlays, showing where one person's planets land in the other's chart
How to Read Your Synastry Chart
A finished chart is a wheel full of lines, and on its own it can feel like a lot. Here is how to actually read what you're looking at.
Start with the aspects. Easy ones like trines and sextiles tend to feel smooth and supportive, while hard aspects like squares and oppositions bring tension, attraction, and the friction that makes a relationship grow.
Which planets are in contact tells you what the connection is about. Sun and Moon contacts speak to identity and emotional safety, Venus and Mars to attraction and chemistry, Saturn to commitment and staying power, and the outer planets to the deeper, fated-feeling pulls.
The house each planet falls in shows which areas of life your partner lights up for you: home, romance, work, or the more private corners.
One line never makes or breaks a connection. A synastry chart is a pattern, not a verdict, and it's worth reading the whole picture rather than any single angle in it.
How to Create Your Free Synastry Chart
You only need a few details to generate the chart:
1. Enter the first person's birth date and place.
2. Enter the second person's birth date and place.
3. Add a birth time for each if you have it, then build the combined chart.
Birth time is optional. For the most accurate reading you'll want exact times for both people, since the houses and the faster-moving points shift through the day. If you don't have one, you can still generate a chart, just know that the house overlays and Moon position may be approximate.
